RoofLodge Evolution2 Roof Tent

You will be gently awakened by the sun’s rays shining through the rainproof skylight. You slept well thanks to the comfortable mattress and the 3D mattress pad underneath. You look around – there is enough space, no mosquitos or other bugs buzz around. You open the entrance and take your shoes out of the net attached to the tent floor to climb down the ladder.

The roof tent at a glance

• Tent skin: 320g sqm polycotton, PU-coated; the darker fabric of the tent skin enables a restful sleep even on light mornings
• Awning: 280g /sqm polycotton, metal-coated; because of the comparatively heavy quality there is significantly less fluttering/flapping noise
• Rods curved outwards for better water drainage
• Thermoplastic honeycomb base; German branded product
• one-piece mattress (60mm thick); available in two hardnesses; Manufacturer: Saar-Schaum, Germany
  – Standard mattress: recommended for people up to 100kg or those who like a softer bed
  – Firm mattress: recommended for people over 100kg or those who like to a firmer mattress (special order)
• 2 roof windows with rain and mosquito protection
• 3D mattress pad (10mm thick) for restful sleep; the base prevents condensation
• Fine mesh mosquito protection on all windows and the entrance

Also included with the roof tent

• Aluminium ladder suitable for a mounting height of the tent up to 2 meters incl. Nakatanenga levelling feet; adaptable to the vehicle height ( an optional ladder extension is available for higher vehicles)
• Stable protective cover made of PVC fabric (similar to truck tarpaulin)
• LED tent lighting
• 2 Nakatanenga travel pillows
• 8 spring steel rods
• Fixing kit
  The supplied fixing kit is used to attach the tent to standard crossbeams with a width of up to 120mm. If you have a different installation situation, please contact us – we will be happy to give you alternative installation options.
  Pre-drilled mounting rails that can be shortened according to the mounting situation (details can be found in the enclosed detailed mounting and maintenance instructions)

  The height of the folded tent is about 40cm. This measure is made up of the height of the mounting rails, the height of the folded tent and the height of the ladder lying on the tent. The ladder can be removed if necessary for example on a ferry.
• Can be mounted on off-road vehicles and cars
