This K-TYPE EGT temperature sensor has a 60mm long tip and a 2.2m long stainless steel braided lead which is long enough to reach from your engine right up to the EMS unit. The probe comes fitted with a brass compression fitting with a 1/8 NPT thread. The compression fitting will clamp the sensor firmly in place on the manifold. This short probe is generally mounted directly into a drilled and tapped hole in the manifold of the engine.
