Seat cushion for Alu-Box and similar

Benches and seats have always been used as storage space in tight spaces on boats, in campers or in tiny houses. So why not turn the tables and turn storage space into comfortable seating? Especially when it comes to transport boxes that almost everyone has with them anyway. With our chic and comfortable seat cushion, even a disdainful aluminium box can be “hygge’d” in no time at all, and that’s Danish for cozy.

The design of the outdoor upholstery is also Danish style: straightforward, functional and in a chic graphite grey, the seat cushion is ideal for an aluminium box. The dimensions of 56x36x6 cm are a perfect for standard ALU boxes of this size, for example the ABP-S060. And so that nothing slips, we have a loop at every corner that can be clamped under the box lid. The 6cm thick foam core also invites you to relax for longer and the nylon-PU-coated cover can of course also be removed and washed separately. Incidentally, we also use the material for the cover in our backpacks. So it is really robust, waterproof and also extremely durable.

And by the way:  Nakatanenga we only use materials with a 100% nylon PU coating for all textile items. In contrast to PVC, nylon PU (polyurethane) is free from harmful plasticizers based on phthalates. Until recently, low-molecular phthalates were the most common plasticizers for all types of plastics and are even used in food and cosmetics. However, they accumulate in the environment and, due to their molecular nature, are suspected of acting like endogenous hormones. This is toxicologically very questionable and is considered a trigger for various diseases including cancer. It is therefore a matter of course for Nakatanenga to exclusively use environmentally and health-friendly alternatives such as nylon PU when coating textile products.
