The innovative Nolden LED headlight with reflector optics combine dipped, remote and (optional) position light function in one unit. The dimensions and the connection in the common H4 format make it an easy to install and durable upgrade for every Land Rover Defender 90/110/130. Price is for a pairing these are for RHD (UK traffic) vehicles.

But they can also be suitable (with adapters or cable sets- please ask for details) for vehicles like the Jeep Wrangler JK / TJ / CJ, various Toyotas, Mercedes G and many more. The integrated control unit ensures easy installation and of course the Nolden Led headlight is approved for use in traffic. You have an ECE (also known as an E-mark) and SAE approval for this. Now only available in the lighter chrome look.

Compared to the original halogen headlights, LED headlights offer numerous advantages:

  • higher light output (“more light”)
  • more pleasant light color (“whiter light”), more similar to sunlight
  • lower energy consumption (32 / 39W compared to 55 / 60W with low or high beam)
  • insensitive to vibrations (particularly relevant for vehicles with a diesel engine and / or off-road use)
  • no replacement of bulbs necessary (approx. 30,000 hours lifespan)
  • White street lighting, comparable to xenon headlights
  • One of the brightest, available 7 “LED headlights worldwide

Many users of classic vehicles, especially off-road vehicles (Defender, Wrangler, G-Class), are looking for a modern light source with a classic look. Previously offered 7 “LED headlights had better illumination than the halogen versions, but mostly still did not provide optimal illumination and were often rather questionable in terms of design. In addition, some of these were retrofit solutions that did not meet OEM requirements.

The design of the Nolden LED headlight is reminiscent of a conventional halogen headlight due to the use of reflector technology for the high-beam headlights and therefore only slightly alienates the design of the vehicle. The 7 “Bi-LED headlight now offers an optimal solution and was developed and produced according to OEM requirements. The illumination is comparable to that of a xenon headlamp, but with lower power consumption and a significantly longer service life and thus lower operating costs. Bi-LED technology means that both low and high beam are implemented in LED technology.

In many vehicles that use a 7 “headlight with PAR 56 size, the Nolden LED headlight can be used as a plug & play solution. Neither an active headlight range control nor a headlight cleaning system is required, as is the case with xenon headlights. Retrofitting is much easier, faster and ultimately cheaper than xenon headlights.
