Water storage
Water is one item no overland traveller can do without but storing it can sometimes cause problems. As a solution to this, we recommend a variety of products.
Swiss Army Water Bladders
These Swiss Army Military issue water bladders hold 20litres, they are made from exceptionally hardwearing rubber. Each has two carry handles and the bladder can be hung by the handle. A push-button valve controls the flow, this screws off for fast filling. The advantage of these over conventional jerry cans and water containers is they take up next to no space when empty, allowing you to carry as much or as little water as you need. They are exceptionally tough and survive most things apart from Australian Roadtrains. £25 each or £45 for two
Onboard water storage
We can supply onboard water storage, in the form of stainless tanks, if you are contemplating long desert trips. This can be tailor made to suit your personal needs, for example on our original overland vehicle we have a stainless tank fitted into the middle footwell of the 110. This location was chosen to give the best centre of gravity. Contact us for prices for your perfect solution.
Lifesaver
When travelling one of the constant challenges is finding safe, clean, drinking water, the Watersaver offers the perfect solution to this dilemma, without the use of chemicals. This video shows how you can solve this problem.
