ARB Fridge Freezer
The range of products stocked by 4x4overlander is influenced by experience. Sometimes this reflects the positive experience of using a particular item and sometimes it is as a result of hindsight and experiencing the snags of a product fitted and used extensively. Our decision to stock the ARB fridge/freezer is one of the latter. We had a different fridge fitted to our overland vehicle and although it worked and never broke down, I had a long list of things I didn’t like about it and so when we were looking for the perfect fridge, we looked for one that would have a good name for reliability, similar technology but none of the niggles which were a constant source of annoyance on our travels. The 47l ARB fridge/freezer fitted the bill perfectly. It is the ideal fridge/freezer for someone running a single battery setup as it is has a low battery monitor and can be set so that it does not drain the starter battery.
We have used this fridge/freezer extensively on our travels last year and the fridge has proved itself to be accurate and reliable. At the moment it has a new home in the kitchen at home acting as a temporary replacement for our domestic freezer which chose an inopportune moment to die.
